Study one-on-one with a professional philosopher! I will bring my decade and a half of teaching experience and my expertise in philosophy to help you design an individualized course of study tailored to your needs and interests.

Here are some things I can help you with:

  • study a particular philosopher or area of philosophy (see my areas of expertise below)
  • understand difficult philosophical texts
  • learn to construct a clear and persuasive argument
  • identify faulty reasoning in the language of others
  • get help with coursework or assignments

See my Details and Rates for One-on-One Philosophy Classes below. If you want guidance with writing or research, see my Editing services for how I can help.

If you want to talk about how philosophy can help you address specific issues or problems in your life, check out my Philosophical Coaching services.

When I met Dr. LaSusa, I was very new to studying and analyzing difficult texts, as well as very new to the idea of asking for professional help when I needed it. She excels in knowing how to help her students break down large pieces of difficult information and making sure that in due time, they will be able to do so themselves. She was extremely patient with me and very perceptive in being able to help identify and build up my strengths....To this day, Dr. LaSusa’s advice and teachings have continued to help me succeed in my studies.
